Our Story
KMK Document Prep Services was founded by Nicola Clark to help clients obtain their permanent resident card through their family in the U.S., without the high cost of an attorney. With over 18 years of experience Nicola started at an immigration law firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida as a paralegal preparing immigration and divorce petitions.
Having gone through the hassles of immigration herself, Nicola understands how overwhelming and complex the immigration application process can be. We guide you from the beginning to the end until you obtain your permanent resident card and/or citizenship.

Your Immigration Journey, Our Expertise
What We Offer
As an Immigration Forms Specialist (IFS) assistance will be provided with completing USCIS immigration forms and putting together submission packages.
There are many USCIS forms immigrants need help with, like the I-485 (to become a permanent resident or “green card holder”) and the N-400 (application for U.S. citizenship).
To fill out these official forms correctly requires English-language fluency. Strong attention to detail is needed to prepare the submission packages to meet the requirements of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
We offer affordable help with immigration forms for many types of processes including:
-
I-90 Application to Replace Permanent Card
-
Applications for U.S. Citizenship/Naturalization (N-400)
-
Family Based Visa Petitions – Green Cards
I-130 and I-485 Petitions
Fiancé Visa K1/K2 -
I-131 Travel Document
-
I-751 Removal of Conditions
-
I-765 Employment Authorization
-
I-864 Affidavit of Support
-
Document Packets for Consular Processing
Please Note:
-
An Immigration Form Specialist is NOT a Lawyer.
-
By law, they cannot give you legal advice or represent you in the courts in any matter.
-
If you need to consult with an attorney your IFS will refer you to an attorney.

Services
Filing an application with USCIS can be overwhelming. We offer one-on-one service throughout the immigration process.
Many legal situations do not require an attorney. Often it is a matter of making sure you have filled out all the required legal forms. Hiring a Document Preparer, costs much less than an attorney. In fact many attorneys use paralegals to prepare their paperwork. By hiring a Document Preparer you are dealing directly with the same people who will complete your forms if you had gone to an attorney, and it cost less.
At KMK Document Preparation Services we have extensive knowledge of all the legal documents and forms needed for your immigration petition. It is important to get a preparer who knows all the documents you need, and prepares them correctly and completely. Although we offer legal document preparation services, some cases may be very complicated and complex that may require an attorney's representation. When you call for your free consultation, we will evaluate your case and if you have a complicated legal matter we will suggest that you to consult with an attorney.

Lets Get Stated
Family-Based Green Card Petition - I-130?
Filing Form I-130 establishes that a bona fide family relationship exists between the petitioner and the beneficiary. It is the first step in the process of helping that family member obtain a green card (LPR status). However, approval of the I-130 does not grant the relative any legal status by itself — it only opens the door for the next phase, which may involve either:
-
Adjustment of Status (if the relative is already in the U.S.), or
-
Consular Processing (if the relative is outside the U.S.)
Adjustment of Status
Adjustment of status is the process by which someone already in the United States can apply for permanent resident status (a Green Card) without having to return to their home country. It's a way for non-immigrants, like those married to US Citizen, minor children, having a student or work visas, to transition to permanent residency. To be eligible, a person must be physically present in the U.S. when filing their application and have entered the U.S. legally.
Become a US Citizen Through Naturalization
Naturalization is the process by which a non-citizen becomes a U.S. citizen. It's a voluntary process, meaning a person must actively choose to become a citizen.
To be eligible for U.S. citizenship, you must meet certain eligibility requirements.
These include being:
-
At least 18 years old when you apply
-
Able to read, write, and speak basic English (depending on age)
-
Of good moral character
